Job Title: Cook County Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Community Outreach Presenter (Contract)
Reports to: Deputy Supervisor of the ICAC Unit
Pay Rate: $25/hr
Location: Chicago Children's Advocacy Center - 1240 S Damen but will be expected to travel to various locations around Cook County.

Working Environment: This role is funded by the Cook County Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force grant. The number of hours a week will vary, however we expect this role will require more time up front for the development of presentations. The number and cadence of presentations will be based on demand from schools and communities but will primarily take place on nights and weekends to accommodate most attendees’ schedules.
This is a 12-month, part-time, contract position, and is not eligible for any benefits, including PTO and medical coverage. The term of this position is subject to grant availability and can be terminated at any time due to discontinuation or expiration of funding.
Physical requirements:
Light Work: The position requires the ability to stand or walk frequently, often for extended periods. You may need to lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 20 pounds regularly, and occasionally heavier items. The job may also involve a significant amount of walking or standing relative to sedentary roles.
Position Overview:
The Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office is seeking a passionate and articulate individual to serve as a Community Outreach Presenter for a public education initiative focused on preventing internet crimes against children. This position is responsible for developing and delivering presentations to parents and community groups throughout Cook County, educating them on how to keep children safe from online exploitation, including child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
The ideal candidate will have strong public speaking skills, a solid understanding of online child safety issues, and experience addressing sensitive topics in a clear, respectful, and informative manner. Familiarity with the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office and the Cook County Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force is strongly preferred.
This role is required to travel to various locations around Cook County and this individual will be reponsible for their own transportation.
